Now let's put some
text and an image on the page. When you first open the
FrontPage Editor, you'll notice the cursor is lined-up on the
top left of the new page. For this page, let's put our header
in the center.
1. Click the center icon,
and the cursor should move to the center of the page. Now type
some text and format it as you would in a word processor
program. Here we selected a bold, default font.

2.
Ok, let's put an image in now. Click on
Insert at the top of the menu bar, and choose
Image...

3. The image dialog box will
appear with a listing of what is in your current web directory.
If you don't have an image in this area you can type in the URL
of one from the Web, or select the browse directory
icon and choose one from your local machine. For this page we
will select one from our local machine's Desktop folder named
fp_images.
=Browse directory icon, located on the lower
left area of the Image dialog box.

4. The browse button brings us to
the Select File dialog box. Now select the
image file you wish to add to your page by clicking on the
OK button. In this case it is eyeflash.gif.
Now let's save this. Click on File menu
and select Save.

5. If you have selected an image
from your hard disk, or other source, you will be prompted
during your save command to select a place to
save the new image. The Save Embedded Files
dialog box will appear. Highlight the image to move, and Click
the Change Folder icon.

6. Now the Change Folder
dialog box appears. It will be set at the root of your
FrontPage sub web. For this example, we are going to save this
file on our Web site. This will move it from the local hard
disk and place it in the images directory on our Web site.
Highlight the image and click the OK button.

7. Now you should have an image
and a heading on your page.

8. Now, let's make sure we
save our work. Next, let's create a
Table.
