Below are instructions to set up Communicator's Mail and News components (Messenger and Collabra).</font></p> <p align="left"><strong><font face="Arial">To Configure e-mail (Messenger):</font></strong> </p> <ol> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Select <strong>Preferences</strong> from the <strong>Edit</strong> menu.</font></p> </li> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Click once on the plus (<big><strong>+</strong></big>) sign to the left of<strong> Mail and News</strong> category.</font></p> </li> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Click once on <strong>Identity</strong>, just below the<strong> Mail and News</strong> category.</font></p> </li> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Fill in the following fields:</font></p> </li> </ol> <blockquote> <font face="Arial"><strong><p>Name:</strong> Your full name </font></p> <p><font face="Arial"><strong>E-mail address:</strong> Your e-mail address in the form mailbox@kayetech.com<br> For example: jdoe@kayetech.com.</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Arial"><strong>Reply Address: </strong>Type the same information that you entered for E-mail Address. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial"><strong>Organization: </strong>This can be the company you represent or work for. It is optional. </font></p> <p><font face="Arial"><strong>Signature File:</strong> Any text in this field will appear at the bottom of every e-mail you send. This is useful for things such as automatically putting your name and e-mail address at the bottom of every e-mail you send. You can press the Choose button to select a text file as your signature. </font></p> </blockquote> <ol start="5"> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Click once on <strong>Mail Server</strong> in the <strong>Category</strong> window.</font></p> </li> <li><p align="left"><font face="Arial">Enter the following information in the <strong>Identity</strong> section:</font></p> </li> </ol> <blockquote> <p><font face="Arial"><strong>Mail server username:</strong> Enter your KayeTech mailbox (Do not use the second part of your e-mail address, just the part to the left of the <strong>@</strong> symbol.)</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Arial"><strong>Outgoing Mail (SMTP):</strong></font><font face="Courier New"> <em>domain</em>.com</font><font face="Arial"> Replace domain with the second part of your e-mail address.
